Zaakirah Nayyar Muhammad is a disabled Muslimah, creative strategist, photographer, and storyteller with over a decade of experience and travels to more than 12 countries.


As a childhood eye cancer survivor who authored a book, filmed a TEDx talk, and hosted three See Life Different Summits, she is now taking that same spirit of ambition off the screen and into your world.


Having visited Ghana twice, Zaakirah is returning to the Motherland—and this time, she is inviting you to join her as we explore Ghana together, experience its rich history and culture, connect with its people, and create unforgettable memories along the way.

Visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site and learn about the history of the transatlantic slave trade through a guided experience of the castle and its dungeons.

The Door of No Return

Stand at the historic threshold where captives were taken from the castle toward the ships. Today, the site represents resilience, remembrance and return.
